You are right. When a thief with a gun steals a wallet and gives it to a
friend, the friend did not steal it but he is in possession of stolen
property.

The government is giving this money to the 'qualified' from taking it from
others. It not stealing because the government legalized the theft of the
money from taxpayers. It can't be rationalize just because the taxpayer
makes more money and can 'afford' it.

You cannot be charitable with other peoples money. Charity is something
giving willingly. I have not given the government PERMISSION to take my
money and give it someone because they 'qualify'. In fact, I would call it
enslavement. I am enslaved to government for 5 months a year and with the
passage of state income tax surcharge that is a couple more days.

Again I will state that tax credits to those who do not pay taxes is
legalized theft or at least possession of stolen property!
