It could be a hw prob. But the fact that it scans almost exactly the left
half of the page makes me think it's either a setting or driver issue. I was
reading about the "stitch" feature and I thought maybe it's setup to do that
but isn't working correctly.
I see you've posted on the Fedora Forums, but what about running the debug
command and then posting on the XSANE Forum?

**The value controls the verbosity of the backend. Please note, that
val-ues greater than 24 force the backend to output raw data
files,which could be rather large. The ending of these files is
".raw". For problem reports it should be enough the set the verbosity
to 13.
