My T61 has worked perfectly since I bought it new a couple years ago.
Gigabit ethernet, Intel wireless, nVidia graphics, all just work, as
does bluetooth. I started with Ubuntu and now run Fedora 11 on it. It
holds only 4 GB of RAM, though. Another thing I like about it is that
the parts are not cheesy. It feels solid.
You need a newer model than my T61, but I still strongly recommend
Lenovo for a headache-free Linux experience.
