[PLUG] Upgrading Ubuntu from 9.10 to 10.04

I have found some of my answers using that route. I'll give VIA a try in 
the area where 10.04 login loop resides.

One of the things that worked in the past was to get a command line 
login and run:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm

Unfortunately, that did not work this time. I'll include that in my 
Ubuntu Forum post and see if anyone has other ideas.

Since if works fine in 9.10, then I'll see if I can figure out what to 
put where and give that a try.
