Brian,

   I did. It was supposed to be here last week. However, when I went to the
Dell Web site to learn why it was late I learned they moved the ship date
back to 1 July. Didn't bother to notify me.

   I had a ThinkPad 600E that ran several distributions, three different
Toshiba models that ran Red Hat, Slackware, and (my wife's current one)
xubuntu, and a Sony Vaio that's been happily running Slackware. The Dell is
a new brand for me and their lack of notification of delayed shipment does
not make a favorable impression.
