Joe,

   That's interesting. What I read in the comparison is that LO has better
support for M$, particularly the newer versions.

   Since I process words only infrequently, and when conversion from and to
Microsoft is necessary, I don't really care which one I use. Most of my
writing is with LaTeX/LyX.
