[PLUG] strange VOB mount problem in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

I would mount the drive and do an ls -al. for music players there is a
.file that the file manager interprets as instructions on what the device
supports.
Don't now the file names but I would suspect it is something like this.
Or it could be an error and I would check the system log.
