[PLUG] MythTV?

Setting up a DTV antenna won't be a problem anywhere in the house. I
built a DIY antenna an hung it on a hook next the the 1080p LCD TV
(pretty much center of house). The signal is digital and pokes through
a house like a hot knife through butter. Antenna signal degradation is
an analog problem from the TV Dark Ages.
All modern HDTVs have built in DTV tuners - just make sure the card
you use for MythTV has one as well, then you won't need converters.
You will need to be pretty far out, and in an RF shadow (Mt Hood) not
to pick up Portlands DTV broadcasts.
I haven't used MythTV in a while (had an analog tuner back in NM) so I
might give the new version a try on Slackware.
