[PLUG] Anybody have experience with Linux on a Samsung Series 3 laptop?

[David Fleck]

My spouse is considering getting such a laptop and we would probably put
OpenSUSE on it. There's what looks like a really good deal on a Samsung
Series 3 in town, but we've seen some scary articles about Samsungs and
UEFI problems that rendered the machines unusable bricks - does anybody
have any experiences with such?
