A retired gentleman called me asking where to start with Linux and 
friends after using Windows as an appliance in his career. I suggested

Might someone want to give a "start here" talk? In short, the 101 
version of Leander's 401 level talk? (I'm still recovering!)

I do NOT suggest an expert give this.

Any first-time speakers? You can do it. Every speaker on the planet was 
a first-time speaker. All of 'em!
