The "Zettabyte File System" was developed at Sun Microsystems and is now
available in Oracle Solaris and various open source operating systems
thanks to the OpenZFS project. ZFS is big, complex and has many knobs to
turn but it is also quite amazing.
This talk will discuss the fundamental issues that ZFS is designed to
address and how it addresses them. We will discuss ZFS planning and best
and worst practices.
