[PLUG] Compile issue: libraries present but not seen

I have no knowledge of how make finds the stuff it needs. Maybe there
is a list or link or something that it looks at instead of or in
addition to the presence of the actual file. Have you tried
reinstalling the libraries? Just a thought.
