Well, it's a great place and everyone's nice. You can learn a lot while
volunteering whether it's tearing down computers
,
building them
or volunteering
. I was doing the laptop build for a while and that was fun
. I can't tell you how much I hate HP laptops after working on them.
I also took some photos for them. It's
a plus that they have give you a computer after you volunteer for 24
hours, and if you already have a computer, they make for decent home
servers. Volunteering also gives you a discount in the store.
They also have classes if you haven't seen that
, but make sure you call them to sign up for a class
.
There are classes on the command line and basic Linux use, specifically
on Linux Mint because that goes on every computer they sell or donate.
There are also HTML, CSS, Python and maker classes.
