I haven't run into the Stingray problem as such, but I have once in a
while run into bizarre encryption on DVDs and Blu-rays that I have
rented from Movie Madness. Most of the time I have been successful in
viewing them by using MakeMKV to rip and encode them to .mkv files. Not
legal, but I feel morally justified since I paid for the right to view
them, and I delete the .mkv file after viewing the movie.
