Many years ago I used NFS to access applications and data files on a
separate host. Now I want to fully configure and mirror the old
server/workstation on the new box. I also need to set up dirvish on the new
host and switch the two host names so postfix works on the replacement. Then
the old host is retired.

I have the laptops and desktop talking with each other. It was the loss of
ssh-agent after the reboots that was the issue.
