The dieresis has been more or less deprecated in Spanish. I have not seen
it spelled that way in years.
Even as a kid back 60 years ago it was going away. But Pinguino = Penguin.
Google translate still shows
the dieresis but it has been a long time. Perhaps it is having to remember
the dark key to add the dieresis
to the U or who knows, but you just do not see it that much anymore.
