[PLUG] VoIP question

"Back in the day" the #1 reason people got "business lines" was to get a
listing and advert in the Yellow Pages.
When I first setup Portlandia IT, I spent a lot of time in 2011 chasing down
a Yellow Pages salesperson and paid $200 for a little 2x3in advert in the
YP. I assumed it would go into the "computer" section where many other IT
consulting firms went into - alas it went into a "new" group in the YP
labeled "IT consulting" or some such. Of course, starting Portlandia in
April I had to wait 9 months for my advert to appear.
I eagerly awaited my phone ringing off the wall in January of the following
year. Nothing.
During successive years I'd ask people if they saw my advert in YP. Nope.
About 3 years after starting the business I found it impossible to find a
yellow pages salesperson. I let the advert lapse.
A few years later they stopped distributing stacks of Yellow Pages.
I ended up about 5 years ago completely cancelling my business lines, and
ordering multiple residential lines (into the same address - which the phone
company didn't seem to care one way or another about) and then changed the
business number to one of the residential line numbers.
Party was over.

Ted,
My Ziply account is a business account, not a residential one.
Thanks,
