[PLUG] Trying to get my Apple Iphone connected to my linux computer

To all:

I could not get icloud for linux to work, but the snap installation was 
successful.

KDE Connect never saw anything on the LAN at all.

Finally, from a hint on the Apple Development website I went straight to 
the online

https://www.icloud.com/

logged in with my Apple ID and password, and immediately had access to 
all my photos and videos, and was able to download them to my linux system.

I will use the Icloud this way as the source file, not my Iphone.

Thanks for all the comments, for me this issue is now closed.
