[PLUG] Linux for non-computer person

OK, I tried the latest Ubuntu the other day and was not really happy
with it. It seemed too rigid to me.
I run XFCe and I use compiz for the window manager. But I do not think I
want to try to put that one
on here. I have run Mate in the past and only stopped when they last rev
came out and they dropped
Compiz, but I am tempted to go down that road..
Yes, I do disable them, I will ssh into the machine and do the apr thing.
I am looking for something that she will find easy to use, she does not
have any Windows baggage to
deal with so as long as she can do what she needs that will be fine. She
does have this digital signature
dongle she has to plug in to sign documents. I hope that is not tied to
windows.
