[PLUG] Hosting Recommendations

Many years ago I asked this list for recommendations for services 
providing web hosting. The considered wisdom at the time was Stablehost 
for hosting and NameCheap for domain registration. I've been mostly 
satisfied with both of them for all these years. Now I'm considering 
changing away from Stablehost.

I recently had a project involving a number of .mp3 voice files. After 
fussing with it for a week I asked Stablehost why I was having trouble 
getting all of the sound to load. That's when I learned that their 
policy does not permit .mp3 files. I solved the problem by sending the 
files to my client via DropBox.

I don't have an immediate need for a change, but want to hear from folks 
about hosting providers who allow .mp3 files. I don't expect to post 
music, but do intend to post speech.

So, I am again asking this list for recommendations for a web hosting 
providers who don't restrict posting .mp3 files.
