I just started pawing through my PLUG mailing list archive, which starts 
circa 2000, and the first message I have from him is from his work email 
at Columbia Funds, and it's a reply to Paul. I don't think he moved to 
US Bank for a few years after that. The last email in my archive from 
him with columbiafunds.com domain is September 2002.

I think the last time I talked to him in person was when I broke his 
network at 6:30 in the morning during a firmware upgrade, just this last 
November. I drove down to his house to fix it.
