[PLUG] Finding geographically local Linux user group

Thank you for your response.
I did individual DuckDuckGo searches for freenode, Mastodon, and Matrix
without any informative responses. I've ideas for more productive
searches, but will respond first to the post by Ted Mittelstaedt who I
suspect is of my generation. ROFL(YMMV;)
