[PLUG] question on impending upgrade in OS

Thank you for replying (those of you who did)

Apparently there is enough difference between Leap 16.0 and the old Leap 
15.5 to justify a fresh install.

That means I get to recompile my programs in the /home directory back 
into the user area as needed, but it is doable.

I just need to copy a critical directory structure in /usr concerning a 
certain math program, but other than that I can do it.

So looks like a fresh install .. yes taking hours.. oh well...
